Yet, in this time span it gives out the pristine, gorgeous, smooth & shiny Silk filament which is unparalleled in the ‘world of textiles’. This Queen of textiles – Silk is an integral part of feminine wardrobe; be it celebration of myriad festivities or social gatherings. The grace silk imparts to one’s personality when adorned as Sari or as a dress or as a designer wear is an unexplainable charm. India is the only country; that produces all the four commercially viable silk yarn namely the mesmerizing Mulberry, the tantalizing Tasar the enchantic Eri and the Magnificent Golden yellow Muga. The last three silk varieties, being indigenous to Bharat and are clubbed under the Vanya Silk or the Wild Silks of India.
