In view of the elections, PM Modi’s visit to Karnataka is considered very special.In Bandipur Tiger Reserve, PM Modi will meet frontline field staff, self-help group people who work to save the forest. Apart from this, the PM will also visit Thepakadu Elephant Camp located in Madumalai Tiger Reserve. During this time PM Modi will also launch the Big Cat Alliance.
In July 2019, PM Modi had called for the formation of the Alliance of Global Leaders to stop the illegal trade and hunting of wild animals in Asia. Prime Minister Modi will also participate in an event to mark 50 years of the Taig Project today. During this time he will launch the book Vision for Tiger Conservation of Amrit Kaal.
