The husband can divorce the wife who tries to separate the husband from the parents, Calcutta High Court says

New Delhi: The incidents of female abuse in the country have often grabbed the headlines of the news, although in many cases, despite many years, the wife has faced untold physical and mental torture. The incidents of husband’s torture are often not forgotten.

This time, the Calcutta High Court has made an important provision in favour of the persecuted men. The court has clearly stated that if a wife brings the husband from her parents, then the wife can be divorced by the husband. Calcutta has ruled in the High Court that it should not force the husband to remain attached to his wife’s mother-in-law for no reasonable reason.
