Kolkata: A police complaint has been filed in West Bengal against two girls for uploading a video mocking the national anthem on Facebook. Advocate Haldar has complained to lalbazar cyber cell and Barrackpore commissioner’s office. However, the video is no longer available on the Facebook account. The girls were reportedly shown singing the national anthem while sitting and smoking using the wrong lyrics.

Complaints have been lodged at the Crime Police Station, Detective Department, Lalbazar. These girls have hurt the sentiments of India and all Indians. Sources in the police department confirmed receiving the complaints and said an investigation was underway. “We have received a complaint and have started an investigation,” a police officer said. The law will take its own course.
