Mumbai: He compared the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) with the Taliban. Javed Akhtar (Javed Akhtar) is again in legal trouble. Mumbai’s Mulund Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court has summoned the veteran Bollywood lyricist.

The court had issued summons in the case in December. The Mumbai High Court had on April 20 directed the lyricist to appear before it in the case. However, he could not appear in court on the scheduled day. The Mulund court has directed the lyricist to appear before it on June 20.”The Taliban are barbaric. Their actions are condemnable. But those who support the RSS, Vishwa Hindu Parishad or Bajrang Dal are equally barbaric,” Javed Akhtar was accused of making similar remarks in 2021. There was a lot of debate about that. The veteran lyricist was reportedly summoned on Tuesday for his remarks. The summons were issued on the basis of a case filed by advocate Santosh Dubey.

Santosh Dubey, who is a lawyer by profession, has been associated with the RSS since childhood. “Javed Akhtar is well aware that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and the Taliban have nothing in common in their way of thinking, ideology, philosophy, thinking or working. Despite this, he has made such comments to tarnish the image of the organisation and to insult dedicated workers like him.
