New Delhi: The long-standing anxiety seems to have come to an end. Khalistani leader Amritpal Singh has finally surrendered. After the arrest of Amritpal’s wife by the police three days ago, the Khalistani leader came to the gurdwara and surrendered.
Amritpal’s wife Kirandeep was detained at the Amritsar airport three days ago when she was on her way to London. Many are believed to have come to gurudwara on Sunday night and surrendered before the police. Amritpal Singh was arrested soon after his surrender. Police, however, are yet to disclose details of Amritpal’s arrest to the media.
