New Delhi:Corona cases are increasing in India .According to health ministry data, nearly 75,000 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the last one week. At the same time, the number of deaths due to Covid is also increasing. The situation in Bengal has also become worrisome. However, the recovery rate is showing a ray of hope. More than 2,000 people have recovered from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
In the last 24 hours, however, corona infection has decreased significantly. A little more than 7,000 people have been infected with corona today. At present, the number of active corona patients in the country is 65,683. The positivity rate has also dropped slightly. However, the statistics of the last week are alarming. For the first time in eight months, the number of Covid-19 cases has reached the 75,000 mark in a week.
The Covid situation in Bengal is also raising concerns. The number of corona patients has almost tripled in the last one week. More than 1,000 people have been infected with the deadly virus. However, overall, the number of corona cases in eastern India has not increased in the same way. According to the Health Ministry, the recovery rate from Covid in the last few days has been 98 per cent.
On the other hand, corona infection is increasing all over the world. Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has already tested positive for COVID-19. Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López has tested positive for COVID-19 for the third time. He suddenly fainted on Saturday. He was diagnosed with Covid-19 while undergoing treatment. He had tested positive for COVID-19 twice in 2021 and 2022.
