Class 12 th pass, earns Rs 5 crore per day! Mumbai police has arrested a gang

Mumbai: Mumbai Police has arrested a man who used to earn Rs 5-10 crore a day. The accused has studied only up to Class 12. He had told a team. The members of this team are spread across many cities. The team targeted women more than men. They were duped by threatening to implicate them in false cases. In this way, this gang used to make transactions worth crores of rupees every day.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone-11) Ajay Kumar Bansal gave this information.

The mastermind, Srinivasa Rao Dadi (49), was detained by a team of Bangur Nagar police station from a luxury hotel in Hyderabad, he said. He has studied only up to Class 12, but is very expert in technology. The DCP further said that along with Srinivas, four more members of his gang have also been arrested. Two of them were arrested from Thane and two from Kolkata.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Ajay Kumar Bansal further said that the gang used to pose as policemen for cheating. The team used to call people, mostly women. Those who were called were told that their parcel (courier) contained drugs or weapons.

The gang used to ask for bank account details from the woman or man whom he used to call. Courier verification was talked about from bank details. It was also said that we will find out who the courier belongs to.

The DCP further said that most people were scared of phone calls and used to give their bank or income tax details to the gang. After this, the victims also shared a one-time password (OTP). After getting the main information, the fraudsters used to withdraw money from the victim’s bank account.
