Mumbai:The Kerala Story, which has recently triggered a controversy in the country, will be released on Friday. Amidst the controversy surrounding the film, a strong security cordon has been put in place in Tamil Nadu. Additional security forces personnel have been deployed at the spot. Directed by Sudipta Sen and starring Ada Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani and Siddhi Idnani, the story of The Kerala Story has sparked controversy.
The film shows a section of women from Kerala forcibly converting and joining terror outfit ISIS. The Kerala Story will hit the theatres on Friday, May 5 amid protests. Ahead of the film’s release, intelligence agencies in Tamil Nadu have issued an alert that the release of the film could create unrest.
