According to archaeological department sources, the construction found under the Bandhavgarh Tiger Project Sanctuary had a commercial route through which commercial transactions were going on. A temporary residence suitable for the merchants was built by cutting stones along the road. There are also pictures painted on 1,500-year-old stones. There are man-made reservoirs. Archaeologists estimate that the age of the city will not be less than 1800 to 2000 years. Which had been hidden under the national spotlight of Madhya Pradesh for so long.
