New Delhi: A grim picture of Gujarat has been brought to light by National Crime Record Bureau. While thousands of women missing from Kerala are shown in the film, the incidents in Modi’s state of Gujarat are not a movie, it is a reality. More than 40,000 women have gone missing in Gujarat in the last five years, according to data released by The National Crime Record Bureau.
According to NCRB data, 7105 women went missing in Gujarat in 2016. Similarly, 7712 in 2017; 9246 in 2018; 9268 in 2019; And 8290 women went missing in 2020.
According to ncrb data, the total number of women missing from Gujarat in a span of five years is 41,621.
