New Delhi: Police have recovered a huge quantity of explosives during an operation in Kashmir’s Pulwama district. A man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of explosives. According to police sources, around 5-6 kg of IEDs were recovered during the search operation on Sunday. Initially, it is believed that the militants had planned to carry out sabotage. Acting on a tip-off, a search operation was conducted in the adjoining area. That’s where success comes in.
The man arrested has been identified as Ishfaq Ahmed Wani. Ishfaq, a resident of Arigam village in Pulwama district, used to send information to militants, police said. Him
