New Delhi: A BJP leader from Gujarat was shot dead by unidentified assailants while he was waiting in his car for his wife in front of a temple in 7 am. On Monday, 3-4 rounds were fired at him. Police have launched a cordon and search operation in the area to trace the attackers of the BJP leader.
According to police, local BJP leader Shailesh Patel was shot dead in Dungara police station area of Bolsad district around 7.30 am on Monday. Shailesh fell into the car in a pool of blood. He was rushed to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. A search operation is underway in the area to trace the attackers. Police officials are investigating the cause of the attack and who is behind it.
