Comments on ‘The Kashmir Files’! Director Vivek Agnihotri issues legal notice to Mamata Banerjee

New Delhi: In the wake of comments on ‘The Kashmir Files’! Director Vivek Agnihotri has sent a legal notice to the Bengal Chief Minister. “Our film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has been insulted. Mamata Banerjee has made completely false and derogatory remarks. Vivek Agnihotri, along with Abhishek Agarwal and Pallavi Joshi, has sent a notice to the Bengal Chief Minister.

Addressing a press conference at Nabanna on Monday, the Chief Minister raised the issue of ‘The Kerala Story’. He even ordered a ban on the screening of the film in the state, alleging that it was spreading hatred. At that time, The Kashmir Files and Vivek Agnihotri
Mamata also commented on her next film The Delhi Files. “What are these Kashmir files? Some are made to disrespect people. What is This Kerala Story? It’s made up of distorted information. “Recently, some of the stars nominated by the BJP came to Bengal with some distorted stories. They are making a film called Bengal Files. They created kashmir files to disrespect the Kashmiri people. Vivek Agnihotri has been vocal about these comments.

Vivek Agnihotri, director of The Kashmir Files, wrote on Twitter, “The Chief Minister of Bengal has lied about ‘The Kashmir Files’ and ‘The Delhi Files’ to be released in 2024. He made derogatory comments. So, along with Abhishek Agarwal and Pallavi Joshi, I am jointly sending a legal notice to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. However, there has been no response from the state so far.
