Islanabad: Former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has been arrested. He was reportedly arrested in front of the Islamabad High Court. That’s what a media outlet claims. The arrests are also reported in a case related to land scam. The High Court complex has turned into a battleground over the incident. Imran’s lawyer was seriously injured in the clash.
What exactly happened? He was reportedly arrested by Pakistan Rangers from the court premises today. As soon as he entered the court premises, he was surrounded. He was then taken to an undisclosed location in a car. During the arrest, PTI supporters and common people are said to have obstructed. As a result, the area eventually turned into a battlefield.
Many posts have gone viral on social media. A PTI leader, Musarat Cheema, is heard saying in a video message, “They are torturing Imran Khan. They are beating Up Mr. Khan. They did something to Mr. Khan!’
Imran Khan’s lawyer is said to have been seriously injured in the clash. A video was tweeted by PTI. In the video, the bloodied lawyer can be seen pleading.
