Dhaka: The powerful cyclone Mocha is moving towards Bangladesh. The Met department is expecting strong winds and strong thunderstorms. Many people have moved from the island and coastal areas to other places fearing disaster. Danger signals are being heard in rohingya camps.
According to the Meteorological Department, Mocha is gradually moving towards Bangladesh. The wind speed is increasing at the center of the cyclone. Maximum wind speed within 64 km of the centre is 90 kph rising to 115 kph in gusts or squalls. St. Martin’s Island is in danger, according to a met office release on Friday.
