New Delhi: What Chanakya had said about 2,500 years ago remains relevant even today. Chanakya has been advising not to take certain things into confidence. They are clawed ferocious animals, horned animals, employees of armed kings, river, women, kings, and royal servants.

There is no guarantee at what point the nailed femurous animals such as tigers, lions, etc. attack humans. To take such nail-teethed creatures into confidence means that one’s own danger will be called upon. According to Chanakya, the river should not be trusted either. Because a quiet river can suddenly become restless and bring death to people. Horned animals, whether domesticated or wild, should never be trusted.
