Guwahati: Manipur is heated up again. Incidents of violence have been reported again in Bishnupur and Imphal West districts of the state.
At least one civilian was killed in the incident and the house of a minister has been attacked. Following the violence, curfew has been imposed in Bishnupur, Imphal East, Imphal West and Jiribam districts till further orders. It is learnt that one person was killed when suspected militants opened fire at Thamanapokpi in Bishnupur district. Meanwhile, miscreants also attacked the house of Public Works Department and Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Kanthoujam.
