New Delhi: On the occasion of the new Parliament Building, the central government will prepare a rs 75 coin. This was disclosed by a source in the Finance Ministry. A central government spokesperson said that Torkar will release a commemorative coin of Rs 75 on the occasion of the inauguration of the new Parliament Building.
In a gazette notification issued on May 25, the Finance Ministry said that the ‘Mudra (issue of commemorative coin on the occasion of inauguration of the new Parliament Building) will be released under the Mudra (Issue of Commemorative Coin on the occasion of inauguration of the new Parliament Building) Rules, 2023. The spokesperson added that the coin will have a diameter of 44mm and will have 200 serations. The coin will be made of 50 per cent silver, 40 per cent copper, 5 per cent nickel and 5 per cent zinc.
