New Delhi: If a husband or wife refuses to have sex with their partner for a long time without sufficient reason then it would be like a case of mental cruelty. This was stated by the Allahabad High Court. The court recently made the observations regarding the dissolution of the marriage of a couple.
The court noted that the petitioner, Ravindra Pratap Yadav, had alleged that his wife Asha Devi did not show any respect for the “matrimonial bond”, she refused to abide by the obligations of marital liability”. Yadav also mentioned in the petition that their marriage has lost its meaning.
