New Delhi:The countdown for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections has virtually begun. The first joint meeting of the opposition will be held in Patna on June 12 at the call of Nitish Kumar to strengthen the opposition alliance. The meeting will be attended by 21 opposition parties, including the Congress, Trinamool Congress (TMC) and AAP. This is according to an all-India media source.
The Bengal chief minister had earlier urged Nitish and Tejashwi to call the meeting. Following the request, the Bihar chief minister called a meeting in the third week of June. Most opposition parties, including JD(U), NCP, RJD and DMK, will attend the meeting. Ultimately, the focus will be on who will be in the meeting.
