New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the new Parliament Building in New Delhi on Sunday morning with the setting up of the historic Chengol. Dressed in traditional attire, Modi goes to the Parliament House premises from gate no. 1 of the new Parliament Building.
Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla welcomed him and took him inside the new Parliament building. The Prime Minister inaugurated the new Parliament Building amidst vedic slogans of the priests of Sringeri Math in Karnataka. Modi prayed to God and took part in the “Ganpati Homam” programme.
