New Delhi: Olympic medal-winning women wrestlers were arrested during a raid on the New Parliament House. The Delhi Police has registered an FIR against them for rioting. On Sunday, the country’s best wrestlers were harassed by throwing them on the road during the inauguration of the Parliament Building. Amit Shah’s police have registered an FIR within hours of their arrest. However, Bajrang Punia, on behalf of the protesting wrestlers, said they would continue their agitation.
All India Wrestling Federation president Brijbhushan Sharan Singh has been accused of sexual harassment. Medal-winning wrestlers, who have brightened the face of the country, are protesting day after day on the streets demanding justice.
