Severe heat wave: All government-private schools in Kamrup district have to change their teaching schedule

Guwahati: The decision was taken by the district administration keeping in mind the health safety of students in view of the rise in temperature in Kamrup district as well. Primary schools are from 7.30am to 11.30am. Middle English schools are between 7.30am and 1.15am.

Classes in higher and higher secondary schools will be held from 7.30 am to 1.55 am. The revised schedule will come into effect from June 5. This was announced by Kamrup district collector Kirti Jalli. The order will remain in force till further orders.
