Mumbai: Veteran actor Harish Magon has passed away. He acted in films like ‘Golmaal’, ‘Chupke Chupke’. Later, he also opened an institution to teach acting. The actor breathed his last at the age of 77. The news of his death was announced by the Mumbai cine and TV artist.
Harish Magon was born in Mumbai. After graduating from the Film and Television Institute of Pune, he started his career in Bollywood. Harish Magon played supporting roles in many films of the 80s and 90s. Apart from ‘Golmaal’, ‘Chupke Chupke’, he was seen in films like ‘Muqaddar Ka Sikandar’, ‘Namak Halal’, ‘Shahensha’.Harish Magon was last seen in the 1997 film ‘Oops Yeh Mohabbat’. Reportedly, the veteran actor retired from acting soon after. He opened the Harish Magon Acting Institute in Juhu. That’s where he was teaching acting.
The cause of Harish Salve’s death is yet to be ascertained. According to sources, the actor had old age-related ailments. He was hospitalized because of that. The doctors tried. But the end was not saved. Fans are mourning the actor’s death.
