New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to France from July 13-14. He has been invited as the chief guest at the National Parade of France.

According to the news agency PTI, during this visit, Modi can make another big defense deal, which includes the purchase of Rafale-M for the Navy.

This is the same company from which India bought 36 Rafales for the Air Force.

In fact, Dassault Aviation, the company that makes Rafale, made Anil Ambani-owned Reliance Aerostructure Limited its offset partner in 2017.

The opposition had raised this issue loudly and said that at a time when most of the companies of the Anil Ambani group are heading towards ruin and they cannot be called very experienced in the defense business, then why is a deal worth Rs 30,000 crore being signed with them?

Anil Ambani, once one of the top 10 billionaires in the world, is currently going through his worst phase.

Anil Ambani, who once made a name for himself in all the businesses like communication, infrastructure, power generation and supply, shipbuilding, home finance, is trapped in such a debt trap that many of his companies have become bankrupt and many have been sold at exorbitant prices.

After going into the auction process of Reliance Capital, he has another company which is on the path of bankruptcy, named Reliance Naval and Engineering Limited (RNEL). This is the same company through which Anil Ambani stepped into the defense sector.
