Florida: The length is similar to that of an adult giraffe. One such Burmese python was caught in Florida, USA. On Monday, he was caught by a 22-year-old man named Jake Valerie. The python is 19 feet long. It weighs 56.6 kg. It is believed to be the world’s longest Burmese python.
After capturing the python, Jake took it to a sanctuary in southwest Florida, according to media reports. That’s where his length and weight are measured. Another Burmese python was recovered from Florida in October 2020. He was 18 feet 9 inches tall. Until now, it was the world’s longest Burmese python.
