New Delhi: The river is flooded with rain. A flood alert has been sounded in Noida area of Uttar Pradesh. The Gautam Buddh Nagar administration has issued a flood alert in low-lying areas along the Hindon river. This was revealed on Sunday.
The administration had warned about the flood situation on Saturday. Around 200 residents of five villages have been shifted to safer places. According to district administration officials, the Hindon River is flowing below the danger mark at the moment. Additional District Magistrate Atul Kumar told PTI that 200 residents who have been shifted to safer places have been given food.
