New Delhi: Omega 3 fatty acids are essential fatty acids, which cannot be produced by the body on its own. We have to get them from food. Omega 3 fatty acids have many benefits. They reduce bad cholesterol, they can even lower blood pressure. According to the journal of the American School of Nutrition, row fish reduces the risk of high blood pressure. This is because omega-3 fatty acids present in raw fish play a catalyst in reducing it when there is high blood pressure.

According to the National Centre for Biological Information, omega-3 fatty acids prevent the blood vessels from clotting, thereby reducing the risk of stroke.
The kind of natural ingredients that are needed to keep the heart healthy are found in abundance in raw fish. The fatty acid called omega-3 present in raw fish oil reduces cholesterol LDL and VLDL, which are harmful to the blood, as well as increase the amount of beneficial cholesterol HDL.
