New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi finally got back as MP. Rahul Gandhi’s post of MP was returned by the Lok Sabha Secretariat this morning. After the Supreme Court stayed the two-year jail term verdict of Rahul Gandhi in the Modi title case, the question naturally arose whether Rahul Gandhi could return to Parliament.
Many had hoped that a decision on when Congress leader Rahul Gandhi would return to Parliament in the Lok Sabha on Monday. Eventually that hope was fulfilled. A meeting of Congress MPs was also convened on Monday itself. The meeting was scheduled to discuss the issue of Rahul Gandhi’s return as mp.
