New Delhi: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s wife Durga Stalin has donated a gold crown to the Lord Krishna Temple in Guruvayur, Kerala. The crown is valued at Rs 14 lakh. There are 32 gold coins embellished on the crown. The crown was reportedly given to him by a businessman in Coimbatore. Stalin’s wife Durga Stalin has also donated a machine worth Rs 2 lakh to the temple to rub sandalwood.
Durga Stalin along with sisters and other relatives reached the temple and donated the crown.
The temple where Durga Stalin donated the crown is located in Thrissur district of Kerala. Lord Krishna is worshiped in the form of Guruvayurappan in the temple. This famous temple is also known as Dwarka in the south.
