Rahul Gandhi marched from South India to Kashmir in the ‘Bharat Joro Yatra’. His programme to build public relations had become a headache for the ruling BJP. Since then, Sonia’s son has been seen in various roles in public relations. Sometimes he rode on a delivery boy’s bike and sometimes he had lunch at home with a vegetable vendor. This time, Rahul has reached the ground a few days before the elections to the Hill Council of Ladakh. Rahul, however, had said during the no-confidence debate that he would visit Leh. That’s how he appeared. Leh district Congress president Tshering Namgyal said Gandhi had a long conversation with local children in a crowded theatre on Friday. But it’s not just public relations, there are special reasons.
