New Delhi: Roads are in bad condition due to severe natural disasters. It is no longer possible to proceed towards Amarnath through pahalgam in Anantnag district and Baltal in Ganderbal district. Due to this, the Amarnath Yatra on this route will be temporarily suspended from August 23.
This year’s Amarnath Yatra began on July 1 this year. The 62-day-long journey is scheduled to end on August 31 with Chadi Mubarak. The devotees proceeded to celebrate Chadi Mubarak through the two roads that have been decided to close. However, the route will be closed indefinitely from August 23 and the yatra will be completed along another route to Pahalgam.
