Inflation in the country now stands at its highest level in 15 months. Speaking at a meeting in New Delhi, Sitharaman said that the government’s main priority is to fulfil the aatma nirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) rasapan. But there is no thought of stopping the import of essential commodities.
