New Delhi: Former Chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) K Sivan on Thursday said the Chandrayaan-2 mission could not achieve success due to a “minor error” that occurred during the lunar mission in 2019.
“This work should have been done four years ago,” says K Sivan. Due to a minor error in Chandrayaan-2, we could not achieve success. Otherwise, we could have achieved all this four years ago. Now, we are very happy that we have learnt from the error and corrected it. “K Sivan says Chandrayaan-3 was prepared from the lessons of the mistakes of 2019.
