New Delhi: After the moon mission, this time India is gearing up for its lunar mission. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) is preparing for its next mission after the successful launch of Chandrayaan-3. ISRO will start studying the sun through Aditya L1. This will be the first sun based Indian mission. The ISRO spacecraft will be sent a short distance away from the Sun, about 1.5 million kilometres from Earth. Aditya L1 will take part in isro’s sun mission. The Aditya L1 vehicle is already ready for launch at the launch pad in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.

Preparations have been completed for launching the country’s first solar mission Aditya L1 Regarding the possible launch date of the Aditya L1 vehicle, Ahmedabad’s Space Application Centre (SAC) Director Nilesh M Desai on Saturday said the launch of the vehicle is likely to be carried out on September 2.
