New Delhi: On August 21, Justice Sabyasachi Bhattacharya of the Calcutta High Court had ordered that the minor girl be aborted. The girl was taken to a Kolkata hospital and subjected to a physical examination. However, doctors at the hospital, after a physical examination, found that it was not possible to abort the minor.
In East Midnapore, the minor girl was gang-raped by three teenagers. The Calcutta High Court had ordered a physical examination of the minor girl and an abortion. However, it was not possible to abort the minor. As a result, the girl gave birth to a baby girl at a hospital in Kolkata. The girl is currently in a home. Three juveniles have already been arrested in connection with the rape. The court sent them to home.
