New Delhi: SPG chief Arun Kumar Sinha, who was in charge of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security, passed away on Wednesday. Special Protection Group (SPG) director Arun Kumar Sinha passed away at a private hospital in Haryana’s Gurugram on Wednesday. He was 61 years old at the time of his death.
He had been serving as the head of the SPG since 2016 and was in charge of the security of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and several former Prime Ministers. His tenure was extended recently. The 61-year-old officer had been undergoing treatment for liver-related ailments for the past few months. ‘
