New Delhi: The clashes in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag ended after seven days. The army said the main head of the encounter, Lashkar militant Uzair Khan, was killed. The body of another militant was found lying in the forest. However, his body is yet to be recovered, Additional Director General of Police Vijay Kumar said on Tuesday. However, the search operation is not being stopped right now, the ADG said.
“Lashkar commander Uzair has been eliminated. His body and several weapons were recovered. However, the search is not being stopped right now. The militants are believed to have been 2-3 in number. As a result, it is being investigated whether all the militants have been killed or if any militants are still hiding in the forest. ”
