CM’s wife Riniki Bhuyan Sarma files Rs 10cr defamation suit against Gaurav Gogoi in Guwahati court

Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s wife Riniki Bhuyan Sarma on Friday filed a defamation lawsuit against Congress’ Deputy Leader in the Lok Sabha Gaurav Gogoi for his alleged “slanderous campaign” against the company she works for.The Title Suit is 590/23,Misc(J) Case-953/23.The case filed & registered on 22 September, 2023.

The case to be moved on 26-09-23 (Tuesday) before the allotted Court of Civil Judge (Senior Division), Kamrup Metro at Guwahati.Earlier Riniki Bhuyan Sarma said that she would file a defamation suit of Rs 10 crore against the Congress MP
