New Delhi: India supports the establishment of a sovereign, independent state of Palestine. New Delhi has opened up about Palestine for the first time amid the Israeli-Palestinian war situation. “Our policy is long-lasting and consistent,” External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said on Thursday.
India has always been in favour of initiating direct dialogue for the establishment of a sovereign, independent and effective state of Palestine. They should live within safe and recognized borders and live side by side in peace with Israel. India’s position remains the same. ”
