Guwahati : On November 4 and 5, 2023, the annual Geet Mator Gadhuli and Asom Jatiya Vidyalaya Awards 2023 ceremony was held at the Asom Jatiya Vidyala Noonmati premises.
In the year 2023, four eminent personalities were conferred the Asom Jatiya Vidyalaya Awards 2023.
Eminent novelist and former president of Asom Sahitya Sabha Rangbong Terang, eminent linguist, litterateur Bishweshwar Hazarika, first Assamese youth, winner of Everest peak Saikia and second Assamese Manish Kumar Deka were given the award.
The honour includes a special gamosa, eri sheets, books, mementos, felicitation letters, pictures and a cheque of Rs. 25,000 each with school symbols.
