7 Shia killed in Kabul blast

Kabul:Militants are killing Muslims in the name of jihad. Seven members of the Shi’ite community have been killed in a deadly explosion on a bus in Kabul. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack.

According to reuters news agency, the incident took place on Tuesday in The Dast-e-Barchi area of Kabul. That’s where a bus exploded. “An explosion took place in a passenger bus in Kabul’s Dast-e-Barchi region,” Kabul police spokesman Khalid Zadran said. Seven people were killed in the incident. Twenty people were injured. According to reports, security personnel reached the area after the incident. An investigation has been launched into the incident. All of the victims belonged to the minority Shia community. Sunni militant groups such as the Taliban, al Qaeda and Islamic State have always targeted Shia and Hazara Muslims in Afghanistan.
