Manish Sisodia gets emotional after meeting wife Seema, says ‘it is painful to see’
New Delhi: Former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday met his wife Seema Sisodia at a private hospital here. The picture of the meeting of the two has been shared by CM Arvind Kejriwal on social media. Kejriwal has described this picture as painful.
In the picture shared by Arvind Kejriwal on ‘X’, Manish Sisodia is hugging his wife Seema and looks very emotional. Sharing this picture, CM Kejriwal wrote, “This picture is very painful. Is such injustice right for a person who gave hope to the poor children of the country?” Sisodia had sought permission to meet his wife on the ground of her illness, following which the Rouse Avenue Court had granted conditional permission to meet her.
Manish Sisodia had sought five days time to meet his wife. However, the court had given him time to meet only from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday. The court had also directed him not to talk to the media during this time nor to hold any kind of political discussion. After this, Manish Sisodia was taken out of Tihar Jail for six hours. Sisodia met his wife at his AB 17 Mathura Road residence. At present, this house has been allotted to Atishi Marlena.
