New Delhi: Rishi Sunak has been gifted a bat signed by Virat Kohli on Diwali. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar handed over the bat to the British Prime Minister. Along with the gift, he also conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Sunak. Jaishankar celebrated Diwali at the British Prime Minister’s residence. The Foreign Minister is on a five-day visit to the UK. A free trade agreement is also likely to be discussed during the visit.
Jaishankar also posted a picture of the two ministers celebrating Diwali in Downing Street. It was there that the External Affairs Minister was seen handing over a cricket bat to Sunak. Holding the bat signed by Virat Kohli, the Indian-origin British Prime Minister had a chat with Jaishankar. Jaishankar also handed over a Ganesh idol as a Diwali gift.
