New Delhi: She has been suffering from respiratory problems for a long time. He has also been infected with corona on several occasions. She was discharged from the hospital two months ago. Meanwhile, the pollution situation in Delhi is still ‘dangerous’. Congress president Sonia Gandhi left Delhi for Jaipur, the capital of Rajasthan, on the advice of a doctor. The decision comes amid fears that the 76-year-old leader’s illness could be exacerbated by Delhi’s dust and smoke.

Delhi’s air quality remained “severe” on Wednesday morning. R K Puram’s AQI is 417, Anand Vihar is 403, Indira Gandhi International Airport is 430. The air quality in most parts of the capital is 400 or more. While the situation has improved slightly after the rains, the pollution situation in the capital is “dangerous” again due to firecrackers on Diwali. Doctors say the situation could put the elderly, children and the sick at great risk.
According to party sources, the senior Congress leader has left Delhi in this situation. Doctors fear that the smog and polluted air could spread the infection back to Sonia’s chest. Breathing may increase. Sonia went to Jaipur in poll-bound Rajasthan without taking any chances. It may be recalled that in 2020 too, the leader had left Delhi for Goa on the advice of doctors due to pollution.
