Swasthya Sewa Utsav-2 Begins: NHM Mission Director Dr. M S Lakshmi Priya interacts with a health staff in Baksa

Guwahati:After the successful completion of the Swasthya Sewa Utsav -1 (SSU) in April this year, the Health & Family Welfare Department, Assam has started the Swasthya Sewa Utsav -2 from Monday(20 November).Dr. M S Lakshmi Priya, IAS, Mission Director, National Health Mission, Assam interacting with a health staff at Medaghat Mini PHC, Baksa District today.

Dr. Priya is one of the External Evaluators for the ongoing Swasthya Sewa Utsav – 2 (SSU-2). A first-of-its-kind initiative in the country to strengthen the Health Ecosystem in the State. SSU-2 will be held till 22nd November, 2023. A total of 430 teams have been engaged to assess and evaluate 1261 Government Health Institutions throughout the State.
