Fatima Bibi, the first woman judge of the Supreme Court, passes away

New Delhi: Fatima Beevi, the first woman judge of the Supreme Court, has passed away. He breathed his last at his home in Kerala on Thursday. He was 96 years old. Fatima is one of the pioneers of women’s participation in the country’s judicial system.

She has also played a major role in bringing minority women in the country to the courthouse. She is the first woman from Kerala to graduate with law. After graduating from law college in Ernakulam, he started his career in the judiciary in the 1950s.
