Hyderabad’s name will be changed, new name will be ‘Bhagyanagar’! Yogi Adityanath’s announcement in Telangana

New Delhi: This time the BJP has also proposed to change the name of Hyderabad. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself raised the issue of renaming hyderabad at a meeting of the working committee last year. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has again made the issue of re-naming Hyderabad ahead of the assembly elections.

Addressing a public meeting in Hyderabad, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath claimed that the BJP will change the name of Hyderabad if voted to power in the state. The new name will be Bhagyanagar. Earlier in 2020, Adityanath had gone there to campaign for the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections. During the campaign, he appealed to the people to vote for the BJP for turning Hyderabad into bhagyanagar.
