Kerala Health Department on high alert as Covid deaths rise again

New Delhi: Will the nightmare day come back again! In the last few days, two people have died due to Covid in North Kerala. After this, the state health department has issued a new alert. Administration in thought. Government and private hospitals have been ordered to keep a vigil. It is to be noted that in 2020, Covid concerns spread across India from this southern state.

Kaliyattuparambatha Kumaran (77) from Kozhikode district and Palakkandi Abdullah, 82 from Kannur district, died of Covid. Abdullah died on Friday. He was reportedly suffering from cough and shortness of breath. He died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Kerala has been witnessing a fresh surge in Covid cases for the past few days. In November, Kerala had reported 470 Covid cases. In the first 10 days of December, the state reported 825 Covid cases.
